Production:

Madiera Clone Semillon grown by Andrew and Peter Kleinig on the Ebenezer Sand infused with Seppeltsfield Road Distillers Crafted aromatics.

Colour:

Very Bright light gold straw

Nose:

Intense limes lemons and orange overlaying the undeniable funk of the wormwood and bready richness of the Semillon.

Palate:

Lean, dry, citrus driven and just screaming out to play with a rich oily gin. The Semillon provides structure that, well... only Semillon can give. Curled around this stalwart core, the wonderful saline mineral characters that evoke memories of Fino give way to the heady lifted esters of citrus and the funky indescribably delicious wormwood bitterness, perfectly taking this Bianco to the Dry pinnacle I personally crave.

Philosophy:

Crisp and expressive Madiera clone Semillon grown by the Kleinig family on their Ebenezer property in the Northern Barossa. Fermented and aged for 8 months on full lees in seasoned french oak. Fortified and infused with beguiling citrus and wormwood aromatics before hand bottling in December 2024. Made to create the perfect dry martini, but equally delicious over ice with tonic and a dash of Lime.
